The police have arrested Esther Enyonam pekyi, the 26yr old lady who allegedly poured acid on her boyfriend, Eric Ohemeng in 2015.
Eric, who was a third year student at GIMPA has been battling for his life over the past seven months, following the horrific incident.
Esther was arrested at dansoman at 9:15 on saturday after a CitiNews team provided intelligence leading to her arrest.
she was visibly shocked after her arrest and looked on helplessly as a team of undercover agents whisked her away.
she is currently at the Accra Regional Police Command pending further investigation.
Meanwhile the Greater Accra Regional Commander, COP George Akuffo Dampare, will address the media on Monday on this arrest.
