Stalwart defender, Osei Agyemang, alias Ageo has told
Asantekotokosc.com that his commitment to performing for Kotoko is
unalloyed and that he is ready to do more to bring success to the club
and joy to the fans.
He made this statement when I asked him how he was faring after the
deep cut he had in the first half of the first match against Al Ittihad
Tripoli. He said even though he was in pain, it did not mean much to him
than the joy he had in fully contributing to the wonderful performance
the team churned out.
“Every wound is painful, but I am comforted by our wonderful
performance in the two matches. It therefore gave me the encouragement
that my blood was not shed in the match for nothing” said the centre
back.
“Though I have received treatment, I must say that such injuries are
not strange in football. I am looking at the positive sides of it. I
hope that it heals fast so I can continue doing what I have signed on to
do for the club” he added.
