Kofi Kinaata Names His Top 5 Artistes

Kofi Kinaata has named his top five artistes of the year without mentioning Samini though both of them belong to the High-Grade Family.


Instead, he mentioned Samini’s rival, Shatta Wale, as well as artistes such as Stonebwoy, E.L, Bisa Kdei and Sarkodie as his top five to make it to the Artistes of the Year category in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Kofi Kinaata made this revelation in a live studio interview with DJ Premier on Entertainment Capital on Accra100.5fm on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

According to him, the five artistes did extremely well and took the game to the next level in the year under review.

Asked if he was also gunning for nominations and probably winning an award, he said he expected his song with Donzy, The Crusade, to get nominated for the Best Collaboration of the Year category. And his Susuka track, coupled with The Crusade, should earn him the Song Writer of the Year award due to the level of creativity he exhibited in the writing of those songs.
