Celebrities use social media as a means to interact with their fans beyond their acts on the screens and on the airwaves.

Most of them are verified users and have massive following on platforms like facebook, twitter, Instagram etc.

One such screen diva is Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji, who has officially joined her peers with over 1 million followers on picture sharing platform Instagram.

Besides the title of Nigeria’s Instagram Queen, Genevieve is the only Nollywood actress to have a verified account on the social network.

Her long awaited movie production debut, ‘Road to Yesterday,’ hit the cinemas weeks ago to much critical acclaim.
