My Failure Will Affect Many Artistes – Flowking Stone

Flowking Stone of Bradez fame says he believes many artistes will feel the pinch should he fail in his music journey.

According to him, he serves as an inspiration to the youth especially those in Kumasi where he hails and that alone gives him the strength to forge ahead.

Flowking Stone made the remarks on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch when host Abrantepa asked if he feels overburdened by the ‘absence’ of his brother and group member, Kuntakinte.

“It’s not only Bradez but Kumasi in general. I’m an epitome of Kumasi. I represent Kumasi, particularly, the youth. The whole thing is on my shoulders. I know so I don’t flop. I work very hard because I know if I fail, it will affect a lot of Kumasi artistes both up and coming and those making it. I know it’s my duty; it’s something I also love to do. I’m passionate about it. I don’t see it as a burden,” Stone said. Kuntakinte suffered a mild stroke six years ago which took him away from the music scene for some time.

Flowking Stone has since released songs like The Way You Are, Number 1, Mekyeakyea, Robot and Fire burn dem. He is currently out with a single, Y3mp? dede which features Yaa Pono.

His Gifted album, according to him, is due to be released soon. The album features his brother Kuntakinte, Dampoo, Episode, Stay Jay, M.anifest, Reggie Rockstone, Cabum, Okyeame Kwame, Lil Shaker, Ryan (Vodafone Icons) and has producers like Magnom, Garzy, Peewezel and others.

The Too Strong rapper is currently on a Mekyeakyea Tour to “dish out first class performances to his fans who have been in thirst of his artistic entertainment for long”
