I Love Bad Publicity - Guru Reveals

Rapper Guru, who has been in the news many times for the bad reasons, has revealed that he has enjoyed any publicity that has gone viral about him.

He has been in the news many times for allegedly stealing songs from underground artistes but Guru, who seems not perturbed by these allegations, keep mute over them.

The “Pooley” rapper on Joy News recently said most Ghanaians do not pay attention to the good news anymore, so the only way to keep your name on their lips is through these bad publications, so he has to enjoy them rather than getting angry.

“It's good, you only get people attack you because you are doing well.They will attack you because you are the only one to be attacked.

I don't see anything wrong with the publicity and the bad side because people mostly want to hear bad stuffs, and they encourage bad publicity.

I love it because it is helping me a lot. Giving me the best of opportunity to be discussed on radio, TV. Masa I want to be discussed. Like the same way, you don’t want to discuss the good things but for the bad ones you will talk about it because you want to hear which you don’t have proof. I love it the way it is”, he said.

R2bees in September last year also told Giovani in an interview on YFM that they also enjoy the bad publicity.
