Popular comedian Funny Face is reported to have terminated a contract he had with Ghanaian actor cum director Eddie Nartey.
Eddie Nartey was reportedly contracted to direct Funny Face’s ongoing
television drama series, ‘Chicken & Cow, on UTV but midway into the
production, the contract was terminated while they were on set.
According to sources, the comedian was not comfortable with how Eddie
Nartey was handling affairs on his set so he decided to let him go.
He has therefore gone for a different movie director to complete the job.
The incident has happened at the time a number of Ghanaian movie
industry stakeholders have been complaining about Eddie’s alleged style
of delaying production and also making unnecessary demands on set.
Recently, Mr Nartey was alleged to have abandoned a movie project he was directing for fellow actor and producer Eddie Watson.
Watson was left with no choice than to direct the concluding parts of the production himself.
Efforts to reach Eddie Nartey yesterday to react to the allegations proved futile.

new director due to his amazing talent. Many touted him as the best
among the lot.
His debut was the movie, “Could This Be Love” which featured Majid
Michel, Lil Win, Nana Ama McBrown, Gloria Sarfo, Doris Sackitey and Fred
Amugi among others.
He went on to direct Shattered Romance, produced by Juliet Ibrahim, and others.
