Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has pledged to restore nursing training allowance if voted into power come 2016 general elections.

Nana Akuffo Addo said this when he visited Holy Family Nursing Training School at Nkawkaw as part of his tour to the Eastern region.
"We are going to restore back the allowances of nursing training colleges to help reduce the troubles students have to go through" he lamented.
Nana Akufo-Addo expressed worry about the current state of the economy which is been characterised by corruption and therefore called on the students to vote the NDC out for he(Nana Addo) and the NPP to manage the economy well. He pledged to assist farmers in order to increase their production in the coming years.
"I wonder why a country like Ghana with almost 25million would be in economic mess despite the numerous natural resources available to us" the two-time presidential candidate added.
He accused the NDC government led by President as corrupt and insensitive to the ordinary ghanaian.
He promised to have a corruption free government under his admnistration because he, personally is not a thief.
